The KD1069 is not a general-purpose tool chest. It is built for car mechanics, and the difference is in what fills the drawers: coil spring compressors, bearing pullers, a brake caliper piston rewind set, a CV joint tool covering most European and Japanese makes, and a full range of hose clamp pliers. Alongside those sit 309 pieces of everyday sockets, spanners and screwdrivers.

If you service suspension, brakes and cooling systems, this cabinet replaces several separate specialist kits and keeps them in one place on wheels.

The steel body carries seven deep drawers on ball-bearing slides. An interlock allows only one drawer open at a time, which stops the cabinet tipping when a heavy drawer is pulled out. The worktop is moulded with an organiser tray for parts and fasteners during a job, and a separate lockable compartment with a shelf keeps valuable items secure. Large castors with automatic locking and brake let you roll the cabinet to the car and hold it steady.

This cabinet ships on a pallet and is delivered by courier. Delivery is charged separately at checkout. Please make sure someone is available to receive the pallet. Note that the driver delivers to the kerbside only — the cabinet weighs 82 kg and cannot be carried indoors by the driver.
